Never Ending Study
Got headache liao! Just came back from Penang last night, and yet early this morning, I already have to go to attend a "casual" interview with the dean of a department in a very "canggih" college!
Not to be "horse-back cannon", but, before I sit for the so called "casual meeting", I already knew that I will sure kena hemtan on my pooooooor english. End up, it's really just a "casual meeting", the dean not even asked me to give him all the document's photocopy that I was asked to bring. So, it's definitely a NO-loh.
Maybe some of you may wondering, why the fxcking hack that I go for an interview before I finished my final thesis. To be honest, it's not my intention. My ex-coursemate who finished her studies one semester earlier is working there, in the college, and asked me send in my cv few weeks back. So, I pun bodoh-bodoh send in-lah. Just before I went back to Penang to get my "white mice", I got a call from the dean's secretary, although I don't think that my english is good enough to fulfill their canggih requirement, but, I think to myself, what's wrong give it a shot, yet I can get experience?!
So, end up, got myself humiliated! But, at least, I knew where to polish my english now. After I finished my study, will try to apply for a temporary job first, at the same time, I would consider taking an english course from British Councill, as suggest by the dean.
Wa-lau-eh, looks like my "study" will never end, like the movie NEVERENDING STORY!
PS: It has been a "long long" while since the last time I wrote in english. Today, I "keluar gua" again since it's something regarding english, haha! Please don't laugh at me anymore, I already cukup malu-lah :P

有點不習慣你寫英文啦,不過多練習真的會進步。加油囉!
Coz I don't use to blog in English. Anyway, it not just for practice, I wanna "faxie" as well!
I can understand you perfectly well... except 'canggih', what does that mean?
到British Council学英文是不错的选择,我也曾经想过那么做,但一直搁置到今天
GP, it means sophisticated
it seems you really forgot about Malay, haha ..
威少,有自省能力的人通常进步神速哦,最怕是自满啊。看,GP 都读懂了,你就放胆多练习吧,加油咯!
I was a bit surprised when read your post in English at my Google reader. Well, practice makes perfect. I need to polish my English too.
我自己也有练习英文,除了多听多用,我还下载语言学习软件,不用付钱……哈哈 :P
有个朋友跟我说,心想事成,就是因为我们有“想”,所以才会有“成”。
加油咯!
One way to improve your English is to throw yourself into a working environment where a majority (if not all) of people you need to deal with speak only English, where you're required to speak, to read and to write in English substantially. My personal experience.
Thanks, GP, but for the job that I applied, I have to better than "understand-able", that's why-lah!
Aiya, 747 is breathing, now you also selling grapes, right? So, after I finished my courses, how about we go to study together, if there's still no company wanna hired us?! Seems like I "zuzou"-ing you, haha! Cursing?!
Pueyyee, I'm 自省; at the same time oso very 自满 leh, how?! You're saying, from now onward, I will only blogging with english?!! Wah, then, u all will pengsan...
Kean-Jin Lim, I thinks yours is "perfect" enough , after all, you're living in an "angmo" country and blogging with english liao.
Clement, UR also the same, living in an angmo country, sooner or later, u will become "percect" also!
Lotuspond, another lady who is currently living in angmo country! Ya, most of the time, I ONLY "thinks".
lys, if I'm not mistaken, UR also living overC, in guailo country, right? Or move back liao, cause recently U "talk" like U're in Malaysia - I mean the OUG thing...
I've been living in the UK for a year. Returned home upon my graduation more than two years ago.
Brother, you are really brave enough! At least you got the guts to do that (interview).
